The 2022 AFC Champions League is the 41st edition of Asia’s premier club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 20th under the current AFC Champions League title.

AFC Champions League 2022 Top Scorer Despite being conducted from 2022 to 2023, this season is the last in the all-year-round (spring to autumn) calendar; starting with the next season, the contests will move to an autumn to spring schedule.
If they haven’t already qualified through their domestic play, the tournament winners will immediately join the qualification play-offs for the 2023–24 AFC Champions League. There are now 35 players that can register for this season, up from 30 in prior editions. Although the AFC “3+1” foreign player rule will be in place during the game, this will open the door for additional international players to be included in the team.

The associations are given places for the 2022 AFC Champions League based on their AFC Club Competitions Ranking, which was released on November 29, 2019, and considers their performance in the AFC Champions League and the AFC Cup between 2016 and 2019.
AFC Champions League 2022 Top Scorer On January 17, 2022, the group stage draw was place at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 40 teams were divided into 10 groups of four: five groups in each of the East and West regions (Groups A through E) (Groups F–J).
Based on their association rating and their seeding within their association, teams for each region were seeded into four pots and randomly assigned to the appropriate places within each group while taking into account the technical balance across groups. It was not possible to combine teams from the same association.
