On Tuesday night, October 4, the 16th annual Awards Show took place at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Hosted by Fat Joe, the event featured performances by some of the current chart dominators including David Banner, Dead Prez, Wu-Tang Clan, and Lil Kim. The winners in several categories were announced last month with Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B and Kanye West leading the pack with most nominations. There were also several first-time nominees including GloRilla who was nominated for Best Breakthrough Artist.

The winners were announced during the live broadcast, which aired on Logo, MTV, MTV2, TV Land and VH1. BET Kendrick Lamar bags the most wins from the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards as he goes home with the awards for;
