CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations 2022 AFCON, Road to Mozambique for Beach Soccer’s AFCON qualifiers revealed
During today’s draw in Maputo, the qualifying match schedule for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Mozambique 2022 was made public. The seven nations that will accompany hosts Mozambique to the finals from the 14 participating nations will compete against one another.

The following dates will see home and away games during the qualification campaign:
First Leg: 22 to 24 July
Second Leg: 05 to 07 August
Titleholders Senegal will play Cameroon, with the first leg occurring in Cameroon and the second game taking place in Senegal.
Nigeria would be delighted to return to the competition after missing the last one. They’ll take on Libya.
Morocco will take against Côte d’Ivoire. Morocco is another beach soccer powerhouse in Africa.

The Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Mozambique from 21 to 30 October 2022.
Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations (BSAFCON) is the main championship for beach soccer in Africa, contested between senior men’s national teams who are members of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). It is the sport’s version of the better known Africa Cup of Nations in association football.
The most successful country is Senegal, which has won the competition six times and is also the current champion. Senegal has qualified for the World Cup in eight of its 10 attempts, making them the most impressive country in this regard. Nigeria is closely behind with six qualifiers. At the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in 2021, Mozambique made its debut.
