The draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup 2022-23 took place on Wednesday 10 August 2022. It took place after the televised draw between Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland. Thirteen Premier League clubs enter the competition, along with two Championship teams, at this stage to join the 35 winners of the first round.
The draw for the third round of the Carabao Cup 2022-23 took place on Wednesday 17 August 2022. The third round will be played over two legs, with 13 Premier League clubs joined by 13 winners from the second round and two Championship teams.
The 2022–23 Carabao Cup final is slated for February 26, 2023, on that day. Wembley Stadium in London, which serves as the customary location for national cup finals in England, will host it. The Carabao Cup is an annual cup competition in English football. It’s the second-most prestigious domestic trophy after the FA Cup, and it was founded in 2014 by a British energy drink company called Carabao.
