A Cavalry FC players and Fixtured professional soccer team from Canada named Cavalry Football Club is headquartered in the Albertan province of Calgary.
The team plays its home games at ATCO Field on the grounds of Spruce Meadows in Foothills County, where it participates in the Canadian Premier League, the top level of Canadian soccer league competition.
Tommy Wheeldon Jr. is in charge of the squad, which is owned by Spruce Meadows Sports & Entertainment. Calgary was one of four locations that the Canadian Soccer Association approved for professional club membership on May 5, 2018.

On May 17, 2018, Cavalry FC was introduced as the second side to formally enter the Canadian Premier League. David Clanachan, the league’s commissioner, and Paul Beirne, the league’s president, joined CEO Linda Southern-Heathcott and COO Ian Allison to announce the team.
By winning the first-ever CPL Spring season on June 26, 2019, Cavalry FC earned a spot in the 2019 Canadian Premier League Championship.
By defeating Vancouver Whitecaps FC in 2019 over two legs, the Cavs became the first CPL team to defeat a Major League Soccer team in the Canadian Championship the following month of Cavalry FC players and Fixtured.
