What Chelsea Players Who Need a Transfer This Summer as they start a new era under new management?
Callum Hudson-Odoi
Despite having all the skill in the world, Callum Hudson-Odoi hasn’t been able to get any traction at Chelsea so his the one of the Chelsea Players Who Need a Transfer This Summer.
He need playing time, like other rookie players, in order to develop consistency and establish his rhythm. Because of competition for positions and his own injury concerns, it hasn’t arrived at Chelsea.
Hudson-Odoi is prepared to challenge for a spot in Chelsea’s starting lineup after coming early for preseason and taking only one week off following the end of the last campaign, but a loan or permanent transfer abroad may be more appropriate to guarantee he plays frequently.
Hakim Ziyech
Now that Raheem Sterling and Raphinha are being pursued, Hakim Ziyech is certain to depart Chelsea this summer.
Two seasons into his Blues career, Ziyech has struggled to establish himself as a first-choice option. His inconsistent play hasn’t helped his cause, and with Conor Gallagher excelling on loan at Crystal Palace, he may be sacrificed.
They are obviously quite different players, but Tuchel may decide to use Gallagher more forward to take advantage of his incredible pushing skills. If that’s the case and Sterling shows up, Ziyech could have to move aside.
Barkley, Ross
Ross Barkley was unexpectedly retained in the fold last season after being abandoned in 2020–21 and loaned to Aston Villa.
He was able to make an unusual appearance, although his game time was brief because he was just a backup.
Barkley may enter Tuchel’s consideration because of Chelsea’s center midfield’s propensity for injuries, but with Gallagher, Billy Gilmour, and Ethan Ampadu returning to the team this summer, he won’t be required when the season begins.
The former Everton player is still a quality player and would work for a Premier League team, even if he may not be worth a high transfer cost. not for Chelsea, though.
Arrizabalaga Kepa
Kepa only appeared four times in the Premier League last season because Edouard Mendy continued to start.

Kepa was recruited by Maurizio Sarri, the manager of Lazio, who has expressed interest in the player in the past. If Kepa wants to leave Chelsea, the Blues are unlikely to stand in his way.
But Tuchel has lauded his backup goalkeeper, who appears to have learned from his earlier errors. This one has a lot of potential.
Sarr Malang
Malang Sarr doesn’t seem likely to receive much of a look-in, even with competition fierce for spots down at the back so is among of the Chelsea Players Who Need a Transfer This Summer.
Sarr may move to Italy in quest of first-team time given the interest shown by Torino and Milan.
The only possible issue is the Chelsea center-backs’ present contractual circumstances. Andreas Christensen has joined Barcelona, while Antonio Rudiger has moved on to Real Madrid.
If deals can’t be reached, Chelsea will be incredibly weak at the back, therefore Sarr could have to remain.
