For freshmen applying for the AY 2023–2024, De La Salle University will administer the DLSU College Admission Test (DCAT).
Admission to the University and the selected degree program for the AY 2023–2024 freshman intake will depend on an applicant’s DLSU College Admission Test (DCAT) scores and high school academic records.

Details for Manila and Laguna Campus DCAT Testing: Candidates must select a testing location via the online application process (OAF). Applicants may simply select the testing location in the OAF, and the date and time will be determined by the system.

All three of the Manila campus’ exam dates will fall on a Sunday. Depending on any COVID-19 government constraints, the exam dates may change.

Dates for DCAT Testing at External Testing Sites (ETCs)

For the convenience of our applicants from these provinces, we urge them to take their DCAT at the partner ETC. Although it is NOT forbidden, candidates from these provinces may take the DCAT at either the Manila or Laguna campuses of DLSU. The ETCs are offered to make things easier for the applicant and to save down on travel and other logistical costs.

Eligibility

An candidate must fit one of the following descriptions:

• Kids in grade 12 who should graduate at the end of the academic year in 2022–2023;
• Students who completed Grade 12 (domestic or international) in AY 2021–2022 or earlier and have not enrolled in any college courses at any universities;
• A student who has passed the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT), Alternative Learning System (ALS), or Non-Formal Education Accreditation and Equivalency (NFEA&E) Program in accordance with DepEd regulations and has been declared eligible for admission to college or tertiary level; a student who has passed the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), the Advanced Placement Test (AP),
