Droo ya CAF 2022/2023 Klabu Bingwa na Shirikisho Afrika CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage draw will be conducted on Wednesday, 16 November 2022. The draw will take place at the CAF House in Cairo, Egypt.

The draw will be conducted in Cairo, Egypt starting with CAF Confederation Cup at 13h00 (11h00 GMT) and CAF Champions League at 14h00 (12h00 GMT). The draw will be conducted by CAF President Ahmad.

The draw will include Four pots, each for the group stage of the Champions League and for the Confederation Cup group stage. Each pot will have Four teams from a different zone, with one club from each zone in each pot.

The teams will be drawn into four groups of four team in each competition, with the champions of the previous season placed in Pot 1 and drawn against a team from Pot 4 on Droo ya CAF 2022/2023 Klabu Bingwa na Shirikisho Afrika

The 16 teams will be drawn into four groups of four. The 4 group winners and the two best runners-up will advance to the knockout stage. The knockout stage will be played in a double-elimination format (Home and Away Format).

Teams play each other twice, with the winning team advancing to the next round and loser being eliminated. There are no fixtures between teams that have already played each other during group play.
