Kamati ya Uchaguzi ya Simba SC, The Simba SC Election Committee (EC) is excited to announce the announcement of the Simba SC Election Committee! Our only goal is to provide a well-organized election that will give Club Members a voice in a transparent manner.

We are currently in the process of interviewing candidates and will announce the slate of officers by December 19th. If you wish to run for office, please fill out the application below. About Simba Sport Club: Simba Sports Club is a football club based in Kariakoo, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Kamati ya Uchaguzi ya Simba SC.

The club founded in 1936, which came from other Tanzanian leaders, Dar Young Africans, was renamed Queens, after Her Majesty, the Queen of England. The club had several name changes from Queens to Eagles, then Sunderland. In 1971 they were called Simba (Lion) in Kiswahili.

Simba SC has won 21 league titles and five national cups, and has participated several times in the African Champions League. It is also one of the biggest clubs in East Africa, having won the CECAFA Club Championship six times.

Simba plays its home matches at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium. In 2022, Simba was the fastest growing Instagram account among football clubs, with 1.9 million followers and 89% growth over the previous year.
