The Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) Examination results for 2022 have been made public by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) and the Ministry of Education. To pass the Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examinations, a candidate must obtain passes in at least six subjects, including English.

There were 159,964 candidates who registered for the exams, with 79,595 females and 83,369 males. A total of 154,495 candidates took the examinations, with 77,484 females and 77,011 males. Out of the 154,495 candidates who took the exam, 112,897 passed. This equates to a 7% pass rate.
Out of the 77,484 female candidates who took the exam, 56,056 passed. This equates to 48.47% success. Out of the 77,011 male candidates who took the exam. 59,841 people have passed.
