NBC Premier League Player of the Month honors the top NBC Premier League player each month of the season in association football. The winner is decided by a mix of an expert panel, the captain of each League team, and the online public vote, which accounts for 10% of the final tally.
The TFF NBC Premier Player of the Month (2019–2020), Vodacom Premier Player of the Month (2020–2021), TFF Player of the Month (2021–2022), and TFF Player of the Month are the names that have been given to it over the years.

The Tanzania Football Federation is in charge of running Tanzania’s top-tier professional football competition, the Tanzania Mainland Premier League (Ligi Kuu Tanzania Bara). The “National League” version of the league was established in 1965. Later, it was known as the “First Division Soccer League,” and in 1997, it was known as the “Premier League.”
Teams from Tanzania participate in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup as members of CAF. Tanzania has risen in the CAF 5-Year Ranking as a result of recent strong results by TPL teams in continental tournaments. More teams from the league may now participate on a European level as a consequence.
