Ronaldo has conquered everything in the game and is still going strong to this day, and now he’s set the biggest record of his all-time career by beating Bican.
2. Josef Bican: more than 805 goals in more than 530 games – 1931-1956
With 395 goals in 217 appearances for Slavia Prague, Bican claimed the honor of being the top scorer of all time for over 60 years.
But now he is finally banned.
Although it is said that he scored around 1,500 goals in total during his playing career, only 805 of those goals were recognized by FIFA.
3. Lionel Messi: 789 goals in 1000 games – 2003-present
A true legend, Messi won many awards to accompany his goals in Barcelona, including seven Ballon d’Or awards.
Now with PSG, the Argentine has a few years left to increase his scoring tally.
4. Romario: 772 goals 994 games – 1985-2007
Romario led Brazil to the 1994 World Cup, scoring five goals in the tournament.
He enjoyed a successful career at some of the world’s top clubs.
5. Pelé: 757 goals in 831 games – 1957-1977
One of the best bowlers and three times winner of the World Cup.
Pelé scored almost one goal per game during his 656 competitive appearances for Santos, although he is credited with scoring more than 1,000 goals in his career.
