Mohammed Hussein popularly known as Mmachinga is one of the former Yanga players who have set unbroken national records in Tanzanian football especially in the Mainland Premier League.
Mohamed Hussein is the only Tanzanian to hold the record for most goals scored in the 1999 season with 26 goals and the record lasts for about 17 years. The record has continued despite a number of strikers appearing but to no avail.
Abdallah Juma, a former Mtibwa player, came close to reaching the Mmachinga record when he scored 25 goals in 2006, and was unable to reach that record as did John Bocco, Bony Ambani and Kipre Tchetche.
