Young Africans Sports Club, or YANGA, is the largest football club in Tanzania Mishahara wachezaji wa Yanga 2021/2022, with its headquarters in Jangwani, Dar es Salaam. The club was founded in 1935 and plays its home games at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
The club, also known as “Wananchi” (Citizens) and “Yanga” (Young Boys), has won 28 league titles and several domestic cups, as well as competing in various CAF Champions League editions. They have five CECAFA Club Championships to their credit.

The anti-colonial movement adopted the club as a symbol. Young Africans were identified with nationalists and independence warriors, prompting the political party TANU to adopt yellow and green as its major colors. The club is now through a procedure that will retain 49 percent of club ownership in the hands of investors and 51 percent in the hands of club members.

The club has a long-running rivalry with Simba, with whom they compete in the Dar es Salaam (also known as Kariakoo) derby. One of the most well-known African derbies, the rivalry was placed fifth.
