The National Building Army (JKT) announced today, August 25, 2022, the opportunity for all Tanzanian Mainland and Zanzibar Islands youth to join the Army’s training by volunteering for the year 2022.
According to Brigadier General Hassan Mabena, the Head of the JKT Administration Branch, the procedure for young people to apply and ultimately be selected to attend the training is handled by the Offices of the Heads of Regions and Districts where the Applicant comes from.
Furthermore, the Army has told the kids who will be given the chance that it does not provide jobs to youth and is not involved in their job search.

The reinstatement of JKT training in conformity with the legislation was one of the main priorities of the fourth phase of the administration of the United Republic of Tanzania under the Commander-in-Chief and President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mr. Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.
Because of the excellent intention to continue promoting patriotism among Tanzania’s youth, the government of the fourth phase has brought back JKT training. It will be noted that owing to the terrible economic condition, the government could not afford to provide JKT training in compliance. JKT training was temporarily banned by legislation on June 15, 1994.
There is no youth training organization that has outperformed JKT in this job; in fact, the fact that many Tanzanians do not question each other about their tribes may be attributable to the presence of JKT. Young Tanzanian patriots that participate in JKT always encounter diverse young people from all around our nation, thus they don’t even have time to inquire each other’s tribes since they all regard themselves as one.
Furthermore, the impacts of the suspension of JKT training were felt by many, which is why the fourth phase government reinstated JKT training in line with the law. Finally, on March 26, 2013, JKT training commenced, honoring the government’s vow to reopen the Ruvu camp.
