Nauli Mpya za Mabasi na Daladala May 2022 LATRA Tanzania Fares, The Land Transport Regulatory Authority (LATRA) is a Government Regulatory Authority established by the Act of Parliament No. 3 of 2019. The Act repelled the act of the former regulator, Surface and Marine Transport Regulatory Authority (SUMATRA).
The Authority is set to regulate the land transport sectors particularly, transportation of goods and passengers (commuter buses, inter city buses, goods carrying vehicles, taxi, motor cycles and try cycles), railways and cable transport. LATRA has its Head Office in Dar es Salaam, and has regional offices in all twenty six (26) regions of the Mainland Tanzania.
Transport is indispensable service and a vital determinant of level of development in any society. Advancement in transportation reflects changes in the way of living, civilizations and economic development.
Land Transport Regulatory Authority. (LATRA) has announced new bus and Daladala fares in the country that will come into effect 14 days from today.

Nauli mpya kwa Daladala May 2022
- 0-10 km fares will be 500 shillings from 400 shillings
- km 11-15 fares will be 550 shillings from 450 shillings
- The final daladala price for 36 to 40 km it will cost 1100 shillings per daladala only.
- Wanafunzi Shilingi Mia Mbili (200 Tanzanian Shillings For Students)
With bus fares going to the regions going up to the standard bridge it is shillings 41.29 per kilometer from shillings 36.89 while the middle class goes up by shillings 56.88 from shillings 53.22 While the fare for students remains 200 shillings per daladala.
