Al Hilal Club of Sudan has extended a special invitation to our squad to take part in a unique competition that will begin the following week. This year, we will play two games in Sudan against Asante Kotoko of Ghana on August 28 and the local Al Hilal on August 31.
When the league is preparing for the local players’ qualifying matches for the African Finals, we will make use of these international contests (CHAN).
The tour will not include nine players who were called up to the Tanzania National Team (Taifa Stars) team in preparation for the game against Uganda.

With 20 players on the technical bench, a few leaders, and a caravan of 30 players, the squad will depart. According to team manager Patrick Rweyemamu, the team will perform physical drills in the evening after arriving in Khartoum tomorrow morning at five Ratiba ya Mechi za Simba za Kirafiki 2022 Kimataifa.
“As we previously stated, we have received an invitation from our friends Al Hilal, and tomorrow at 10 am, a caravan of 30 people and I will set out for Sudan. We expect to reach in Khartoum tomorrow.
The players will have a short nap once the squad arrives in Sudan before engaging in physical training. The final practice before the game will take place on Saturday, according to Rweyemamu.
