Six nations, including the hosts India, have so far signed up for the competition: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, China PR, Japan, and New Zealand. These nations will undoubtedly be in the draw on June 24. There are still openings in a number of confederations despite the fact that the event will include a total of 16 participants.

The three venues that will host some of the brightest up-and-coming talents and future stars of women’s football later this year have been announced as Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, and DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. This is done to ensure the safety of the players involved and the other tournament participants.
“With qualification taking place all around the world, we are extremely happy to announce the date of the draw and confirm the three Host Cities for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022,” said Sarai Bareman, FIFA’s Chief Women’s Football Officer.
