Ratiba ya Simba Day 2022: Simba Sports Club is a football club based in Kariakoo, Dar es Salaam Tanzania, Founded in 1936, the club, which broke away from another Tanzania Giants, Dar Young Africans was named Queens, in honor of her Majesty, the Queen of England. The Club had several name changes from Queens to Eagles, then, Sunderland. In 1971 they were renamed Simba (Swahili for “Lion”).

Simba SC have won 21 league titles and five domestic cups, and have participated in the CAF Champions League multiple times. They are also one of the biggest clubs in East Africa, having won the CECAFA Club Championship six times.
Ratiba ya Simba Day 2022
Today we have officially launched our schedule for the whole week leading up to the International Simba Day Festival which will be held on August 8 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium. As is our custom, one week before the peak of Simba Day we have various events of social activities.

Tomorrow August we will have an activity to sign the contract with the main sponsor M-BET. On Tuesday we will have a cleaning exercise for various institutions across the country.
Wednesday will be a blood donation exercise across the country Friday we are going to visit Children’s Prisons all over the country. On Saturday the players will be given a seminar on various social issues. Sunday Prayer.

The Chairman of the Lions Club on the Members’ side, Murtza Mangungu has said that we have not yet finished registering new players in our squad.
Mangungu said this week we will introduce other players who will shake the country and the attraction at the summit of Simba Day on August 8.

Mangungu has said that the launch of our best jerseys for this season that are free of scratches will be launched this week.
“Just tell me a secret that we have not finished the registration, there are some metals that have not yet been identified. This season we have organized ourselves and my fellow Encoders are doing very well in Ratiba ya Simba Day 2022.
“The best jersey will be launched this week. It does not have cracks or museums. It is a jersey that will keep history,” said Mangungu.
The chief executive of the club Barbara Gonzalez has made it clear that we will return all the titles we lost last season due to the preparations we are making on Ratiba ya Simba Day 2022.
Barbara has said that our goals are to return the championship of the NBC league, Azam Sports Federation Cup and reach the Semi-Finals of the African Champions Club Championship. Barbara added that this season we don’t ski anymore, we are organized inside and outside the field and there will be nothing to hold us back.

CRDB Bank has entered into a partnership
CRDB Bank has entered into a partnership with our club to sponsor our Simba Day Festival that will be held on August 8, this year where they have invested Shs 25 million in Ratiba ya Simba Day 2022.
The funds will be used in the preparation and the celebration which this year will be big and different due to the way it is scheduled.
The Chief Executive of CRDB, Abdulmajid Nsekela has said that the bank has been involved in sports and this season they have decided to be part of this festival with a great history.
“CRDB Bank has decided to be a part of the Lion Day Festival by giving them Shs 25 for the preparation. Simba is a big team and even our employees 50 percent are Simba fans, we believe this is a good start to develop a good relationship between us,” said Nsekela.

For her part, the Chief Executive, Barbara Gonzalez, said that CRDB has increased the value of Simba Day and as time goes by, it grows more.

It is official that we will play an international friendly match against St. George from Ethiopia at the peak of our Simba Day Festival which will be held on Monday August 8, at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
St. George are the defending champions of the country’s premier league, being the champions who have won the championship many times, doing so 29 times.
St. George with their full squad will arrive in the country on Saturday at seven in the afternoon where they will have a chance to practice on Sunday before they leave for the summit day.
The game against St. George will be a good test for us after three weeks of training in Egypt and will give us a compass for the new league season 2022/23.
Before the start of the game we will introduce our players that we will use this season as well as the technical bench.
