For sponsorship purposes, the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League, an African women’s club football tournament/championship organized by the Confederation of African Football, Ratiba ya Simba Queens Ligi ya Mabingwa Afrika 2022 is also known as the 2022 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League (CAF).
Between October and November 2022, Morocco will host this year’s event. After winning the first edition, Mamelodi Sundowns are the reigning champions. The champions of the CAF Women’s Champions League in 2022 will be automatically qualified for the 2023 competition.

The six sub-confederation qualifying tournaments that make up the qualification phases started on August 7, 2022. There was one representative for each confederation. On September 9, 2022, at 11:30 CET, the Mohammed VI Technical Center in Rabat, Morocco, hosted the draw for the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League (10:30 UTC). The unidentified UNIFFAC champion and the seven confirmed teams were divided into two groups of four teams each. AS FAR was given slot A1 because they were hosting the club competition.
