Sekhukhune United Fc was formally established on November 5, 2020, in a ceremony attended by the late ‘His Majesty’ King Thulare Victor Thulare III and many other prominent visitors.

The main theme of this sparkling occasion was to submit a recommended three-year strategy to the Dstv Premiership (This being the top tier league in South African football).

The trip in the GladAfrica Championship for the 2020/21 season began with a thunderous performance from Babina Noko and culminated with the season as GladAfrica 2020/21 Champions.

Following their recent promotion, SKUFC is presently participating in the Dstv Premiership. Babina Noko will play their home games at Emirates Airline Park (previously known as Ellis Park), Makhulong, and New Peter Mokaba Stadia.
