Selemani Kidunda vs Erick Katompa Live Na Matokeo, Tanzanian boxer Seleman Salum Kidunda (sometimes written Selemani) was born on January 2, 1984, in Ruvuma. He took part in the Commonwealth Games in 2010. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Kidunda also fought in the Men’s Welterweight competition, however he was defeated by Moldovan Vasile Belous in the opening round.

The defeat was attributed to many officiating errors. He was the Tanzanian flag bearer at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, when he was defeated by Kehinde Ademuyiwa in the opening round. After watching Mike Tyson fight on television, he decided to take up the sport, and the Tanzania Sports Writers Association crowned him Tanzanian Boxer of the Year.
