The management of our club has reached an agreement to sell midfielder Rally Bwalya to a team that we will not disclose at this time due to contractual requirements.

Bwalya will play his final game this Sunday against KMC and after that he will be allowed to leave to join his new team which is expected to start preparations for the season (Pre Season) soon

In honor of the player who has been with us for two seasons we will use Sunday’s game against KMC to be held at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium to officially bid farewell to the Zambian star.

Bwalya joined us in August 2020 from Power Dynamos of Zambia on a three-year contract where until he went to join the new team he had a one-year contract left.

For the two seasons he has been with us Bwalya has helped Simba win three titles including the Tanzania Mainland Premier League, Azam Sports Confederation Cup, Revolution Cup and community shield

Bwalya has also helped the Lions reach the quarter-finals of the African Champions League in the 2020/2021 season and the Confederations Cup in Africa in the 2021/2022 season.

The club’s management wishes Rally Bwalya well in his new football career in the new team.

Simba SC Ilivyo Muaga Mchezaji Wao midfielder Rally Bwalya and take care of him after the match against KMC as part of an official farewell where that was his last match with our squad.

The incident happened after the match ended in a 3-1 victory, where Bwalya walked around the stadium saying goodbye to the fans waving his hands as a farewell gesture as they took care of him to show their love.

Bwalya thanked the fans for Simba SC Ilivyo Muaga Mchezaji Wao, players and the technical bench for the great cooperation they gave him throughout his time with our club and will always remember them as he wishes us well for the upcoming league season.

However, despite bidding farewell, Bwalya said he could return if God gave him a job as the work of the ball is a cycle from one place to another.

“I am very grateful to the fans for the great love they showed me, they have given me great value and I feel lucky to have this family. Simba will always be in my heart, ”said Bwalya.
