It’s possible that the fight won’t take place on July 30 as scheduled at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. AnEsonGib’s decision to withdraw due to a head injury was originally reported by TMZ Sports on Wednesday. According to TMZ, doctors won’t give him the all-clear.
It’s unlikely that McBroom will locate a suitable substitute 10 days prior to the bout, according to TMZ on Social Gloves 2022 boxing Fighting.
A grudge match has been labeled for the fight. AnEsonGib faced Taylor Holder in a boxing match on the undercard of McBroom’s YouTubers vs. TikTokers boxing event in 2021. It was controversially decided that the bout was a majority draw. AsonGib claimed to have been “robbed.” Later, the draw was declared invalid, and AnEsonGib was declared the winner by a unanimous vote.

AnEsonGib thinks that the decision to score the fight a draw was caused by political maneuvering on the part of McBroom and Social Gloves.
Later, AnEsonGib shared a video on Twitter outlining his position. In order to be approved to fight in Los Angeles, he said he needed to go through extra medical testing. For the examinations, he stated he would be traveling to Los Angeles later that day.
Since then, AnEsonGib has been under fire from McBroom. He was questioned about the necessity of his further examinations. As of the time of this article’s publishing, AnEsonGib has not answered.
The fights on the undercard would also be cancelled along with the main event. The NFL running back matchup between Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell as well as the matchup between former NBA player Nick “Swaggy P” Nick Young and rapper Blueface are all on the card of Social Gloves 2022 boxing Fighting.
