Timu Zinazoshiriki Club Bingwa Afrika 2022/2023 CAF: Confederation of African Football, or CAF for short, is the administrative and controlling body for association football, futsal and beach soccer in Africa.

The FIFA Congress, held on June 7, 1956, at the Avenida Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal, resulted in official negotiations between the aforementioned associations, which led to its establishment on February 8, 1957, at the Grand Hotel in Khartoum, Sudan.

The largest of FIFA’s six continental confederations, CAF represents the continent’s national football associations, manages national team and club competitions, and oversees prize money, rules, and broadcast rights for those events.
