US Open 2022 New York Grand Slam, Novak Djokovic is unlikely to compete in the US Open 2022 after the organizers declared they would “respect” American government regulations on the travel of athletes who are not immunized.
Djokovic is still unvaccinated and doesn’t appear to have any immediate intentions to become one. He skipped the Australian Open for the same reasons in US Open 2022 New York Grand Slam.

The 21-time Grand Slam champion stated he will “wait optimistically for some positive news” after winning Wimbledon earlier this year. Rafael Nadal, who is set to compete at the US Open and has a good chance to extend his advantage, is his fiercest competitor and is one major championship ahead of him in US Open 2022 New York Grand Slam.
The US Open will be held at Flushing Meadows in New York from August 29 to September 11.

The three-time US Open winner Djokovic was routinely added to the entry list for the last Grand Slam of the year, but there is yet no word on whether or not the Serbian will be permitted to compete in New York.
According to the ITF Grand Slam rules, all eligible players are automatically accepted into the men’s and women’s singles main-draw fields based on ranking 42 days ahead to the event’s first Monday in US Open 2022 New York Grand Slam.
Serena Williams, another previous winner, will compete in the US Open. According to The Guardian, she is listed on the WTA players’ entrance list in US Open 2022 New York Grand Slam.
Williams, a six-time US Open winner, has won 23 major championships overall but hasn’t claimed a Grand Slam since winning the Australian Open in 2017. The seasoned player is still on the hunt for a record-equaling 24th Grand Slam, which would place her on pace with Margaret Court, who is the female and male singles champion with the most trophies won.
