The Vipers CAF Champions League Group 2022/23 will be a competition between the top 16 teams in Africa to determine who will become the overall champions of the continent’s most important club tournament.
The Vipers will be part of Group G with teams such as Vipers FC, Simba, Coton Sport and Al-Ahly. The group also contains the following teams:
Each team will play each other home and away, with the top two teams qualifying for the quarter finals, where they’ll compete in a one-game semi-final before moving on to the final.
The Vipers will take part in Group G, which also includes ASEC Mimosas from Cote d’Ivoire and Simba from Tanzania. The rest of the groups will be announced throughout the soon leading up to kickoff on December 21st 2022.
This is a competition we’re very excited about. The CAF Champions League is one of the most prestigious club competitions in Africa, with some of the continent’s biggest teams competing for a place in the final.
It’s an opportunity to pit our skills against some of Africa’s best sides, which will allow us to improve and hopefully bring back some silverware to Vipers CAF Champions League Group 2022/23.

The Vipers will be competing for the first time in the CAF Champions League, but we’re confident that this is a competition that can only help our progress as a club.
