Three gold medalists from the Tokyo Olympic Games are competing in the men’s 5000-meter race: Jakob Ingebrigsten of Norway, Selemon Barega of Ethiopia, and Joshua Cheptegei of Uganda World Athletics Championships 2022.
Grant Fisher, the USATF champion, will attempt to match his incredible performance in the 10,000-meter race in order to compete in the 5000. Meanwhile, teammates Woody Kincaid and Abdihamid Nur will try to beat their previous records in order to build up a spectacular finish.
